About Us
Sutter Sleep Disorders Centers
Sutter established the region's first sleep center in 1984, bringing to Sacramento the latest sleep testing and treatment advances. Sacramento's oldest and largest sleep medicine program, Sutter Sleep Disorders Centers has helped thousands of children and adults discover the causes and solutions to sleep-related problems. The center expanded to a new Roseville location in 2004 and continues to add the most recent developments in diagnosis and care to ensure patients of all ages can resolve the underlying causes of disturbed sleep.
Sutter Sleep Disorders Centers is part of the Sutter Neuroscience Institute, which provides specialty care for the full range of neurological conditions. The center is supported by Sutter's network of primary and specialty care doctors who treat patients with high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, obesity, breathing difficulties, hormone imbalances, and other conditions that may be associated with sleep. The center also offers diagnosis and treatment for children with sleep disorders of all types. Infants with out-of-the-ordinary sleep problems, including apparent life-threatening events (ALTE), also receive sleep testing and treatment in conjunction with Sutter Children's Services. In addition, the center is part of the Sutter Health system of acute care hospitals, outpatient clinics for adults and children, rehabilitation therapy and occupational health services. As part of Sutter's extensive network of care, Sutter Sleep Disorders Centers offers a comprehensive approach that incorporates the role sleep plays into all aspects of a patient's health.
