Sutter Women's Services
24-hour transport services are available to bring expectant mothers to Sutter Memorial Hospital and Sutter Roseville Medical Center for high risk delivery. Full medical transport, including ground, helicopter, and fixed-wing airplane, staffed by a specially trained transport team, is available 24 hours a day to bring expectant mothers to Sutter Memorial Hospital for high-risk delivery, and to bring infants and children from other hospitals to Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Mothers and infants transported to Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento receive the area's highest level of specialized delivery and intensive care services. Through ambulance, nonprofit CALSTAR (California Shock/Trauma Air Rescue) helicopter services and onsite helipad, Sutter Roseville Medical Center's Level II Trauma Center serves pregnant mothers and infants who have experienced trauma or life-threatening illness. The Trauma Center serves more than 800,000 people in seven counties, including Placer, Nevada, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba counties, and portions of Sacramento and El Dorado counties.
